• Western Michigan Genealogical Society
  was founded in 1954 with the purpose of preserving and making available for genealogical research the records of our ancestors; encouraging and assisting members in genealogical research; promoting the exchange of knowledge and encouraging the deposit of genealogical records in established libraries and archives
    

• Michigan Genealogical Council
  is an organization composed of two delegates from each member society. It's objectives are to locate, preserve, publish and deposit in suitable repositories records of value to genealogists and to initiate activities which encourage and assist those who are involved in genealogical research  
    

• Berrien County Genealogical Society

• Huron Shores Genealogical Society
    

• Lyon Township Genealogy Group
  Covering South Lyon, New Hudson, and Salem Michigan. The library has extensive, local historical papers, several microfilm collections, and many typical genealogy reference sets, i.e. familytree CD's etc. Meetings the 2nd Wednesday of each month at the New Hudson/Lyon Township library-27025 Milford Rd. • Kalamazoo Valley Genealogical Society 
  serves family historians who live in or are interested in the Kalamazoo River Valley in southwest Michigan .
